Jan MacKell Collins has been a published author, speaker and presenter since 1995. Her focus has always been on western history, with an emphasis on historical prostitution. In addition to her many books, Ms. Collins has published numerous articles on her subjects in such magazines as True West, Montana Magazine, All About History and numerous regional magazines. She has also given dozens of programs both in person and via Zoom since 2003. Her accolades include a special guest segment on TruTV’s Adam Ruins Everything and numerous television and radio interviews. In her off-time, Ms. Collins has served on preservation and museum boards in Colorado, Arizona and Oregon, and is a former director of the Cripple Creek District Museum in Colorado. She will offer her book for sale and will sign each book if desired. No oral presentation will take place.
